No restrictions apply to treatment with private registration which allows patients more choice and the ability to obtain the results they want (providing the dentist deems the patient suitable for treatment requested).
Call the practice on 01569 760760 to make an appointment to register or pop in to see us. We will take your details and make a convenient appointment for you. Registration can only be completed when the dentist has seen you. As a registered patient you will have access to emergency and out of hours treatment.
How long will my first appointment last?
This will be approximately 20 minutes in length.
How much will it cost?
The consultation costs £40. X-rays can cost between £10 and £40 depending on the type of x-ray required.
Will it involve any treatment?
It may involve x-rays to be taken should the dentist deem it absolutely necessary. These x-rays help the dentist to see if there is decay between the teeth. No dental treatment will be done during the first appointment, it is simply a chance for your dentist to assess your oral health and discuss with you their findings and proposed treatments. They will then discuss this with you at which point you can decide if you wish to proceed.
I am a very nervous patient and am worried about having dental treatment, what can I do?
Please let us know about your anxieties as just voicing your worries can help. Many anxieties are brought about by bad previous experiences. We can help you by taking the treatment at a slower pace allowing you to be comfortable with shorter procedures first. Our staff understand that some patients are very anxious and their calming and supportive approach have won round many nervous patients. Please see the anxiety management section of the website which maybe of further help to you.
What happens if I am unable to attend my appointment?
We ask that you give us 24 hours notice of cancellation. You can call us. If lines are busy please leave a message. You can arrange a suitable alternative at your convenience.
Please arrive 5 minutes early for your first appointment to complete a medical questionnaire which helps us to accommodate for any medical requirements you may have.
